Metal Treatment Technician

1. Rubber Mixer - $24.72/HR
Key Responsibilities
\t
* \t
Mix ingredients into the Banbury mixer, monitor temperature, and drop batches
\t\t
* \t
Monitor computer console to ensure proper mix recipes
\t\t
* \t
Weigh raw materials per formulated recipes using scales; adjust portions to specified weights
\t\t
* \t
Read and follow formula/recipe to determine material types and quantities
\t\t
* \t
Record material weights for production tracking or maintain perpetual inventory
\t\t
* \t
Dump materials in prescribed sequence into roller-mounted boxes
\t\t
* \t
Transfer weighed materials to production or storage areas using rollers or hand trucks
\t\t
* \t
Sort weighed materials into designated bins/containers by type or weight
\t\t
* \t
Operate the 84? mill: start, monitor, cut, and end milling cycles per procedure
\t\t
* \t
Sheet, stack, and pack rubber—both manually and automatically—for shipping
\t\t
* \t
Maintain operator-controlled quality throughout all processes
\t\t
* \t
Complete all Mixvision and SAP transactions accurately
\t\t
* \t
Weigh and deliver mixed rubber to appropriate areas
\t\t
* \t
Keep work area clean, neat, and safe
\t\t
* \t
Perform other duties as assigned by supervision
\t
Qualifications
\t
* \t
Proven ability to follow detailed recipes and procedures
\t\t
* \t
Comfortable using computerized control consoles and inventory systems
\t\t
* \t
Physically able to lift, bend, push, and stand for extended periods
\t\t
* \t
Ability to wear respirator and other required PPE
\t\t
* \t
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
\t
2. Metal Treatment Technician - $23.01/HR
Key Responsibilities
\t
* \t
Schedule case prep/treat equipment clean-out and recharge cycles
\t\t
* \t
Coordinate disposal of hazardous materials in compliance with regulations
\t\t
* \t
Monitor TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) responsibilities for all prep/treat equipment
\t\t
* \t
Track chemical inventory and coordinate re-order points with suppliers (BGL)
\t\t
* \t
Perform titrations on phosphating equipment according to run charts
\t\t
* \t
Manage Kanban and spot orders to maintain smooth workflow
\t\t
* \t
Maintain accurate paperwork, logs, and process charts
\t\t
* \t
Perform other duties as directed by supervision
\t
Qualifications

Excellent attendance record
\t\t
* \t
Ability to perform physical demands of the role: moderate lifting, bending, stooping, pushing, etc.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
\t
