A leading organisation within the defence/supply chain sector is seeking an experienced PMO Manager to strengthen and enhance their existing PMO function. You’ll be working within an operational programme environment—not traditional IT project management—supporting major warehouse and 3PL implementation activity with an IT‑enabledponent.
Your new role
You’ll play a key role in developing and maturing the PMO function, ensuring robust but practical processes are in place without introducing unnecessary administrative burden. A major focus of this role will be setting up and improving SharePoint sites, designing fit‑for‑purpose structures,ernance pages, documentation hubs and workflow processes to support operational programme activity.Key responsibilities include:
1. Enhancing the existing PMO processes across an operational supply chain programme.
2. Supporting 3PL warehouse implementation projects with an IT bias.
3. Setting up, structuring and improving SharePoint sites for PMO and programme use.
4. Ensuringernance, reporting and documentation processes are effective but not overly burdensome.
5. Working closely with project teams to ensure smooth delivery across warehouse and supply chain environments.
What you'll need to succeed
6. Strong experience as a PMO Manager within operational, supply chain or warehouse‑focused environments.
7. Background in warehouse / 3PL implementation projects.
8. Excellent SharePoint capability – able to build and structure sites, processes and document pathways.
9. SC clearance is required for this role, if you don't have active clearance, you must be eligible.
10. Stable work history – ideally not too many roles in the past five years.
11. Ability to be on‑site in Donnington one day per week.
