We are recruiting Trainee Youth Workers to join our team to work in residential settings. We are looking for flexible, reliable, and interactive individuals.
Position involves providing security, guidance, interaction, and support to service users with complex needs within a residential setting, aiming to create an environment that caters to a person’s intellectual, spiritual, social, and emotional needs.
You will work with individuals placed into the care system for various reasons, with a range of disorders, behaviors, and needs. Therefore, you should have the confidence, patience, and skills to work effectively with these individuals and positively impact their lives.
In this role, you will support young people throughout the day with tasks such as meal preparation, cleaning, education, and shopping.
Please note that you will be required to complete an enhanced DBS check with Fulbridge Social Care and successfully complete one of our induction programs before placements are offered.

Main duties and responsibilities:
1. Build strong professional relationships with service users and staff.
2. Maintain a safe, clean, and enjoyable environment for service users and staff.
3. Keep all communication and information systems up to date.
4. Attend and actively participate in meetings.
5. Support service users in managing their behavior using approved skills.
6. Promote equality and acknowledge individual differences.
7. Protect service users from any form of abuse from staff, visitors, or other service users.
8. Write accurate reports for reviews and maintain records for monitoring purposes.
9. Attend all required training and achieve relevant qualifications.
10. Attend work reliably and punctually, following a set shift pattern.
11. Stay updated with procedures and policy changes.
12. Ensure health and safety of yourself and others.
13. Undertake additional duties relevant to the role as needed.
