* Quality and Standards: Hold a high level of focus on the development and raising of quality in practice, setting standards, and ensuring the conditions required for successful social work are met within each home.
* Outcomes Focus: Strive to achieve the best possible outcomes for children and young people in need and their families, ensuring their voices are at the heart of our service delivery.
* Manager Support: Provide crucial line management, guidance, and support to the Registered Managers, enabling them to meet regulatory requirements and deliver outstanding care.
* Strategic Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues across Fostering, Adoption, Children with Disabilities, and other key service areas to ensure seamless and integrated care pathways for children.
About You
We are looking for a dynamic and inspiring leader who is passionate about residential care and has:
* Significant management experience within children's residential services or a relevant area of Children's Social Care.
* An in-depth understanding of the legislative and regulatory framework governing Children's Homes (e.g., Children's Homes Regulations, Ofsted requirements).
* A proven track record of driving up quality and improving outcomes for vulnerable children and young people.
* Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to lead, mentor, and build trust with a diverse team of professionals.
* The commitment to be physically present in Hull for the majority of your working week to provide active, visible leadership.
If you are ready to take on a challenging yet highly rewarding role, shaping the future of children's residential services in Hull, we encourage you to apply.
