We're looking for a Customs Clearance Day Clerk to join our Operations team in Dover, working within our Customs Insights Department. Reporting to the Branch Manager, this full-time role plays a key part in delivering smooth and accurate customs clearance processes.

Working Hours: Mon - Fri 09:00 to 17:30 (Compulsory overtime may be required).
Key Responsibilities:
Completing import customs declarations.
Completing export customs declarations.
Assisting the customs clerks with completion of customs paperwork as required.
Assisting with other operational duties within the office at Managers discretion.
What Were Looking For:
Minimum 2 years experience
Full knowledge of customs procedures and principles
Proficient with customs clearance software
Good understanding of Excel spreadsheets
IT Literate
Conscientious and Attention to detail
Must be able to meet deadlines
Team player with good communication skills
Ability to identify and report issues effectively
Communicate politely and efficiently with clients and internal staff
