GSL Education are hiring a Teaching Assistant to inspire and assist learners across Doncaster schools, notably in the DN2 and DN6 regions, maintaining a positive classroom environment and supporting teachers. As a Teaching Assistant (TA), you will work closely with pupils to support their understanding, help with tasks, and encourage positive behaviour. You will contribute to creating a nurturing and focused learning environment across a range of subjects. Responsibilities: Support pupils individually or in small groups to complete learning activities. Assist the teacher in preparing resources and classroom materials. Encourage positive behaviour and engagement in all lessons. Help monitor and record pupil progress. Support inclusion and participation for all students. Requirements: Experience working with children in an educational setting. Strong communication skills and patience when supporting learners. Ability to work collaboratively with teaching staff as a Teaching Assistant. Flexibility and a proactive attitude. An Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
