The Quality Control Technician is responsible for performing routine and non-routine quality control activities to ensure products meet established quality, safety, and regulatory standards. The role involves laboratory testing, inspection of materials and finished products, accurate data recording, and adherence to applicable quality systems, including GMP and GLP requirements.
Responsibilities
* Perform Quality Control (QC) assays in accordance with approved procedures and as assigned by the Line Manager.
* Prepare reagents and materials for routine assays and raw material testing.
* Conduct quality inspections of finished products and assembled kits to ensure compliance with specification requirements.
* Calibrate laboratory equipment and maintain accurate temperature, calibration, and equipment logs.
* Review and interpret QC data under the guidance and supervision of senior QC personnel.
* Accurately record, manage, and maintain data.
* Manufacture, test, and document internal controls in line with established instructions and protocols.
* Monitor and maintain appropriate stock levels of laboratory consumables and reagents.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree (BSc) in an appropriate scientific discipline or proven equivalent industrial experience.
Practical experience associated in laboratory workflows is desirable.
