* Contract: 12‑month Fixed Term
* Location: Hereford City
* Hours: 37 hours per week
* Salary: £36,363 – £40,777 + £3,000 welcome payment (please see guidance)

Qualifications and Experience
* Registered Social Worker with Social Work England and a qualifying degree.
* In‑depth knowledge of current legislation and its real‑world impact.
* Motivation to pursue further qualifications such as Practice Education, Best Interest Assessor or Approved Mental Health Professional.
* Strong collaboration skills with external agencies and partnership building.
* Full, clean driving licence and willingness to work across the county.
Responsibilities
* Conduct a diverse range of adult social work, including Care Act assessments, person‑centred support planning, mental capacity assessments and Section 42 enquiries.
* Work with a strength‑based approach to empower individuals and champion their independence.
* Engage in essential CHC and S117 work to ensure seamless support for service users.
* Apply experience working with varied populations – those with physical and learning disabilities, mental health needs, and older adults.
* Participate in regular supervision and contribute to a supportive professional culture.
