We are looking for a Revenue Management & Distribution Analyst to join our Reservations Department at Grosvenor House Suites!
As a Revenue Management & Distribution Analyst you will be r esponsible for supporting the Revenue Director with the communication of selling strategies, maintenance of reports, market research, and inventory control, with the purpose of maximizing revenue and profitability of the hotel.
Your main duties include (but are not limited to): Inventory Management & Pricing

Assisting the Director of Revenue in implementing a proactive selling strategy across all market segments.

Assist with yearly rate setting and daily/weekly/monthly price positioning to ensure the hotel is competitively priced in the market to achieve fair market share.

To monitor the room availability, overbooking and room type sell limits for the coming months and liaise with the DORM to update where necessary to ensure maximum RevPAR is achieved.

Assist with the management of group ceilings and rates and quote for group enquiries falling outside these parameters.

To be familiar with IDeaS G3 / FLYR Revenue Management System and understand how this can be utilised to maximise revenue.

Support the DORM with the communication of strategy to the wider hotel team. Reporting & Analysis

Prepare and send out Daily Pick-up report with commentary.

To complete and distribute the Weekly Reports ahead of the Revenue Meeting.

To complete the Monthly reports by the 10th of the month latest. Prepare any other ad-hoc reports as required.

Review city wide events that may affect the demand forecast and advise the Director of Revenue accordingly.

Keep abreast of new supply in the market and prepare competitor analysis in prescribed format.

Ensure all inventory and rates are correctly loaded and available on all distribution channels in line with our availability and sell strategy.

Liaise with the Preferred Hotels & Resorts OTA Activation Team to ensure the correct loading and visibility of third-party rates and inventory on the individual platforms, and that restrictions are correctly assigned by channel.

Communicating with the Preferred Team responsible for GDS loading and mapping and ensuring details match those on the approved submission on Cvent.

Respond to all correspondence from customers and partners within 48 hours.

Be the main point of contact and liaise with third parties including but not limited to Booking.com and Expedia, in regard to rates, inventory, and promotions on their extranets.

Ensure all hotel rates are loaded in an accurate and timely manner, carry out testing to ensure the rates are visible and bookable on the applicable sales channels and ensure all hotel departments are made aware of all rate plans and their inclusions.

Participates in the development and implementation of all relevant systems including but not limited to: Opera, SynXis CRS, IDeaS G3 / FLYR, STR, Demand 360, Lighthouse, Agency 360, Cendyn.

To be fully conversant with all functions of SynXis CRS system & to ensure that the information is effectively updated and loaded.

Liaise with Sales Account Managers on any account issues, particularly related to rate loading and mapping, and action as required, maintaining communication internally.

About you: Essential
Minimum of 2 years Reservations experience
Minimum of 1 year experience in revenue management
Desirable
Experience with Opera Cloud
Experience with SynXis CRS and OTA extranet
Experience in a London hotel
Experience in the 5-star market
