Join us as a GCS Prime Services Negotiator at Barclays, where you will support prime brokerage, futures, and related financing businesses by drafting, negotiating, and executing capital markets contract documentation (e.g., ISDA Master Agreement, Credit Support Agreements, Global Master Repurchase Agreement, Maser Securities Loan Agreement, Prime Brokerage Agreement, Futures Agreement, OTC Clearing Agreement, Intermediation Agreement, and ancillary agreements).

You will ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and documentation standards, adhering to guidelines and procedures.

Essential Criteria:

* Substantial experience, knowledge, and understanding of Prime Services agreements and the Financial Services industry.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong communication and negotiation skills.
* Effective senior stakeholder management skills.
* Pro-active mindset.

Other valuable skills:

* Qualified Lawyer, Paralegal, Legal Executive, or uncleared margin experience on ISDA negotiations.

This opportunity is based in our London office.

You may be assessed on key skills such as legal issues, legal practices, regulatory compliance, and business acumen.

Purpose of the role:

To oversee and manage transactional processes, ensuring legal and regulatory compliance, and maintaining accurate documentation for financial transactions.

Accountabilities:

* Ensure Transaction Services and Documentation activities comply with laws and regulations, managing legal and reputational risks.
* Coordinate with stakeholders, including legal counsel and risk management, for timely transaction execution.
* Create, review, negotiate, and manage legal documents like loan agreements and transactional documents.
* Support transactions through summaries, due diligence, and inter-departmental assistance.
* Develop and implement transaction processes for consistency.
* Identify and communicate legal considerations, keeping up-to-date with relevant laws and regulations.
