Main duties of the job
We are looking for a forward‑thinking, positive and motivated Healthcare Support Worker to join our team at the Oxford Heart Centre on Cardiothoracic Ward. The Cardiothoracic Ward is a 25‑bedded unit caring for pre‑ and post‑operative cardiac and thoracic patients. You will support patient care, promote a safe and effective environment, and contribute to the delivery of compassionate excellence.

Candidates should be excellent team players with the ability to use their own judgement to resolve issues. They must work well under pressure, be flexible and willing to suggest ideas for improvement, and demonstrate compassion and a commitment to learning how to deliver high standards of patient care.

* Essential IT skills in order to access required systems such as electronic patient records.
