We are recruiting self-motivated and enthusiastic support workers to provide care and support to adults with learning disabilities within their own homes. You will make a difference in the quality of a person's life by supporting them with daily living activities, including:
1. Personal care such as showering, bathing, dressing, and toileting.
2. Administering medication.
3. Supporting with meal preparation.
4. Participating in leisure activities to promote social inclusion and independence.
Applicants with experience in a care setting or informal support to family or friends are encouraged to apply. A person-centered approach and willingness to develop skills are essential.
The role requires working on weekends and bank holidays, with additional enhancements paid on top of the basic salary. Extra hours may also be available beyond the contracted hours.
