About The Role This is a pivotal position within the business. You will work closely with the Operations Manager and departmental teams to coordinate staff, support project delivery, assist with financial processes, and maintain operational efficiency across multiple live projects. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, commercially aware, and confident communicating across teams in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Assist the Operations Manager with daily planning and coordination of works. Support scheduling of engineers, subcontractors, and site teams. Monitor project progress and ensure timelines are maintained. Maintain accurate project documentation and internal records. Liaise with suppliers, subcontractors, and clients where required. Support mobilisation of new projects. Assist with procurement and material tracking. Ensure compliance documentation (RAMS, Health & Safety paperwork) is in place. Track variations and support project cost control processes. Assist with raising purchase orders and tracking project costs. Support invoice preparation and applications for payment. Work alongside accounts to ensure accurate job costing. Monitor project profitability alongside the Operations Manager. Act as a key point of contact between office and site teams. Support performance tracking and workforce coordination. Contribute to continuous improvement of internal processes. What We Are Looking For Previous experience in an operations, project coordination, or administrative role (construction or technical sector preferred). Highly organised with excellent attention to detail. Confident using Microsoft 365 systems. Strong communication and problem-solving skills. Commercially aware with an understanding of cost control. Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively. Proactive, reliable, and adaptable approach to work. Experience within construction, fire & security, mechanical & electrical, or related industries would be advantageous.
