HR Coordinator
Location: Hybrid, Luton
Impellam Group is a global leader in workforce and specialist recruitment solutions. We are expanding our People Support team in Luton and are looking for an HR Coordinator to join us.
Role Overview
As an HR Coordinator, you will provide efficient administration services for all employee lifecycle activities across Impellam UK, ensuring high service levels and accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
1. Serve as the first point of contact for colleagues' HR queries via email and phone.
2. Process employment change letters and produce/send contracts of employment.
3. Verify right to work documentation, handle leavers, and coordinate with payroll and benefits.
4. Respond to reference requests and maintain accurate employee records in our HR system.
5. Manage maternity/paternity leave, flexible working requests, and advise on probation and AWOL issues.
6. Address queries related to holidays, sickness, and basic HR system issues.
7. Handle sickness absence in accordance with internal procedures, liaising with relevant teams.
8. Generate correspondence and manage incoming/outgoing post.
Skills and Experience
* Experience in HR administration.
* Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
* Ability to prioritize workload effectively.
* GDPR compliance knowledge.
* Ability to work independently and manage projects.
* CIPD qualification or part-qualified is desirable.
