About the Role
A friendly and nurturing primary school in Nantwich is looking for a committed Teaching Assistant to join their team as soon as possible, with the position running through to the end of the academic year. This is a fantastic opportunity to support children’s learning and development within a welcoming school community.
Key Responsibilities
Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and accessible lessons
Work with pupils individually or in small groups to reinforce key learning
Provide tailored support to children with additional needs to ensure inclusion
Assist with classroom organisation, displays, and preparation of resources
Help maintain a positive, safe and inspiring learning environment
Supervise pupils during transitions, break times, and school activities
Build positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents
Requirements
Experience working with primary-aged pupils (EYFS–KS2)
A supportive, patient, and enthusiastic approach
Strong communication and teamwork abilities
Ability to follow teacher direction and use initiative when needed
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
Relevant TA qualifications (e.g., Level 2/3) are desirable but not essential
