Private Client Solicitor or Associate

A well-established and highly regarded legal practice in Central Scotland is currently seeking a Private Client Solicitor to join its growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated solicitor to work alongside experienced practitioners within a supportive and collaborative environment.
The Role
You will manage a varied and interesting caseload covering all aspects of private client work, including:
- Drafting Wills and Powers of Attorney
- Administration of executry estates and trusts
- Preparation of confirmation applications, IHT returns and executry accounts
- Managing matters from initial instruction through to distribution
- Supporting and supervising junior team members, including paralegals and trainees
- Ensuring compliance with legal, accounting and tax deadlines
About You
- Qualified Solicitor (Scotland) with 1 year PQE or above
- Proven experience in a Private Client role within a Scottish firm
- Strong technical knowledge of executry administration and related tax matters
- Excellent organisational and client management skills
- A proactive, team-focused approach with strong interpersonal abilities
- Keen to stay up to date with developments in law and tax regulations
