The post holder will be responsible for the general day-to-day operational functions of Pharmacy Stores, including providing a high-quality and efficient pharmacy distribution and goods-in service. The post holder will support the smooth running of the Pharmacy stores for staff and other Trust employees.
The post holder will coordinate in the following areas, ensuring tasks are completed and documented within the designated timeframes:
* Topping up and receipt/supply of ward orders
* Ward and Pharmacy deliveries
* Goods in
* Waste Management
* Emergency Boxes
To carry out Senior ATO stores duties, assisting the Senior Technician by:
* Assisting in the coordination of pharmacy support staff to ensure all orders are received and completed daily, utilizing the PTS to keep data accurate and up-to-date.
* Assisting in the coordination of delivery services for wards and Pharmacy departments, ensuring adherence to the daily schedule.
* Supporting the goods in team, including receipt of goods, documentation processing, and stock organization.
* Assisting with waste/returns processing from clinical areas, reviewing wards' waste and returns.
* Supporting the Emergency box supply and replenishment, maintaining minimum stock levels.
* Escalating operational issues such as staffing or delays to the Senior Technician.
* Participating in training support staff and trainees on various stores roles, including Top-up, Eylea/Lucentis reconciliation, stock assembly, receipt, and returns.
