We're bringing one of Clitheroe's most beloved pubs into a bold new chapter — transforming it into a destination gastropub with exceptional food, premium drinks, and a stunning new look.
At our heart, we are a fresh food business serving from breakfast through to evening (9am–9pm). We're passionate about local produce, fresh ingredients, and seasonal specials — and we're looking for equally passionate chefs to join us on the journey.
The Role
As a Chef de Partie, you'll be hands-on across all sections of the kitchen, ensuring every plate reflects our high standards. From prep to pass, you'll play a key role in delivering consistency, flavour, and flair.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver high-quality cooking across multiple sections as required.
* Maintain excellent food standards and presentation.
* Support the Head Chef, Sous Chef, and Junior Sous in day-to-day operations.
* Uphold the highest standards of kitchen hygiene, including deep cleaning routines.
* Help with stock rotation, ordering, and minimising waste.
* Bring energy, teamwork, and flexibility — evenings and weekends are part of the rhythm.
About You
* Previous experience in a professional kitchen, gastropub or restaurant level is preferred.
* Strong understanding of kitchen operations and food safety standards.
* Reliable, organised, and able to stay calm under pressure.
* Keen to learn, grow, and take pride in your craft.
* Passionate about fresh food, local produce, and seasonal cooking.
