Overview
* We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Claims Handler to join our clients Global Markets team.
* As a Claims Handler, you will play a crucial role in processing and settling complex claims related to aviation, energy, marine, and liability within the global market.
Responsibilities
* Review and assess various types of claims including aviation (cargo and hull), energy (offshore), casualty, marine (cargo and hull), and liability claims
* Communicate with clients, brokers, and underwriters to gather necessary information and documentation for claims processing
* Analyse policy coverage and applicable laws to determine the validity of claims
* Conduct thorough investigations and collaborate with other departments to resolve and settle claims in a timely manner
* Maintain accurate claim files and documentation while adhering to compliance and regulatory standards
* Provide exceptional customer service and support to clients throughout the claims process
Qualifications
* CII, or working towards preferred
Experience
* Experience in handling complex claims within the aviation, energy, marine, and liability fields preferred.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make sound decisions
* Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
* Familiarity with insurance policies, regulations, and legal considerations
Day-to-Day
* Reviewing and prioritising incoming claims
* Analysing claim documentation and supporting evidence
* Liaising with internal and external stakeholders
* Maintaining accurate claim records and databases
* Keeping up-to-date with industry developments and regulations
