Centre Manager - Children with Disabilities Residential & Respite Service
Salary: £55,620 - £58,692
Location: North East London (Local Authority)
We are seeking an experienced and committed Centre Manager to lead a specialist residential and respite service for children and young people with disabilities and complex needs. This is a senior leadership position within a local authority, offering the opportunity to shape services and deliver outstanding outcomes for children and families.
Minimum Requirements - applications will only be considered if you meet all of the following:
1. NVQ Level 5 (or equivalent) in Leadership and Management.
2. Registered Managers Award.
3. Enhanced DBS clearance.
4. Substantial experience managing residential or respite services for children with disabilities and complex needs.
5. Strong knowledge of Ofsted regulations, safeguarding legislation, and best practice in children's social care.
Key Responsibilities
6. Lead and inspire a high-performing team providing residential and respite care.
7. Ensure full compliance with Ofsted and Children's Homes Regulations.
8. Oversee the service's Statement of Purpose and drive continuous improvement.
9. Manage a significant budget (circa £800k) and ensure effective use of resources.
10. Build strong relationships with stakeholders, partners, and the local community.

You will be a confident and capable leader with proven success in managing complex care environments. You will have strong people management skills, financial acumen, and a track record of delivering high-quality services that meet regulatory and legislative requirements.
