We’re working with an ambitious and inclusive secondary school in Birmingham to recruit a Graduate English Teaching Assistant. This full-time, long-term opportunity is perfect for a graduate passionate about English and education.
Graduate English Teaching Assistant – Why You Should Apply:

Graduate English Teaching Assistant – What You’ll Be Doing:
* Supporting KS3 and KS4 English lessons
* Assisting with lesson delivery, reading tasks, and literacy development
* Providing 1:1 and small group intervention for students needing extra help
* Helping students explore literature, language, and critical analysis
* Promoting strong written and verbal communication skills
* Encouraging classroom engagement and respectful discussion
* Supporting enrichment activities like book clubs and drama productions
Graduate English Teaching Assistant – What We’re Looking For:
* A 2:1 degree or higher in English, English Literature, or a related subject
* A deep interest in language, literacy, and education
* Any experience with young people or in tutoring is highly valued
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* A proactive, creative, and compassionate mindset
* A goal to pursue teacher training or a long-term education role
