Responsibilities
* Understand and interpret Linehaul schedules as produced by the Linehaul Planners.
* Matching of drivers to schedules.
* Production of outbound loads and load manifests for driver despatch purposes.
* Briefing and debriefing of site-based drivers including agency drivers.
* Downloading of Digicards and production of infringement letters if relevant.
* Completion of Agency Declaration Forms and Agency Hours Forms.
* Allocation and recording of vehicles issued.
* Processing of vehicle defect notes in line with legal and company policy requirements.
* Vehicles inbound and outbound processes via Yard Management System.
* Movement and positioning of load units on site via Yard Management System.
* Liaison with warehouse staff regarding inbound and outbound loads.
* Production of internal operational reports as required.
Experience and skills
* Experience gained in a similar role.
* Outstanding communication skills and ability to communicate in writing and verbally with stakeholders at all levels.
* High levels of competency in computer literacy, specifically Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Salary
Salary: £27,600 per annum

About the role
This is a key operational role in the Control Room, reporting to the Duty Process Manager, as part of a team responsible for the coordination of the Linehaul vehicles transitioning on site. It is also pivotal in the day-to-day management of the Ryton based Linehaul drivers.
