Nursery Practitioner – Bishop's Stortford
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 6:00pm (shifts may vary)
Contract: Full-time
Are you passionate about early years education and looking to grow your career within a supportive, friendly nursery setting? We’re seeking a Nursery Practitioner to join our dedicated team in Bishop's Stortford.
Responsibilities and Qualifications
* You must hold one of the following:
o Level 2 Diploma for the Early Years Practitioner
o Level 3 Diploma for the Early Years Practitioner (Early Years Educator)
o Level 3 Technical Certificate in Early Years Education
* Previous experience in an early years setting is desirable but not essential.
* A positive, caring and enthusiastic attitude.
* Someone who is eager to be part of an incredible team and progress within their career.
Role & Responsibilities
* Delivering high-quality care and education to children, ensuring their safety and wellbeing at all times.
* Supporting children's learning and development through creative play, planned activities, and the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
* Building strong, positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
* Assisting with daily routines such as mealtimes, naptimes, and personal care.
* Observing, recording, and assessing children's progress, contributing to their individual learning plans.
* Maintaining a clean, safe and stimulating environment both indoors and outdoors.
* Working effectively as part of a team to support the nursery's ethos and goals.
