Overview
Join our dynamic Marine team at Marsh as a Client Executive, where you will play a key role in managing an allocated client account portfolio while supporting the Account Executive/Broker.
You will handle your own portfolio of small to medium‑sized clients and contribute to the team's overall client growth. This role offers the opportunity to build strong relationships with clients, underwriters, and internal stakeholders, delivering exceptional service in a collaborative and fast‑paced environment. The position is based in Norwich and is hybrid, requiring you to be in the office at least three days per week.
Responsibilities
* Manage relationships with clients, prospects, and producers to deliver exceptional service and drive growth.
* Handle day‑to‑day queries, renewals, amendments, and mid‑term adjustments for your allocated client portfolio.
* Coordinate the production and quality assurance of client deliverables.
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with underwriters (P&I clubs) and liaise with internal stakeholders to ensure excellent client service.
* Supervise and support client managers in their daily activities and collaborate across the marine department and wider company.
Qualifications
* Experience in the insurance industry, preferably in a Client Executive or similar client‑facing role.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills with confidence to advise and negotiate.
* Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple enquiries simultaneously.
* Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
* Proven ability to build, manage, and develop relationships.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.

* Knowledge of marine market conditions and regulatory requirements.

* ACII part or fully qualified or working towards it (or equivalent).
