Vision Lighting Ltd are the UK's leading sign lighting manufacturer, proud to be UKAS-certified to ISO 9001 & ISO Based in Leeds, we are expanding our team and looking for a skilled Powder Coater to join us.

The Role
You'll be responsible for preparing and powder coating aluminium extrusions, cast components, and panels to a high standard. Alongside coating work, you'll help with stock management, maintenance of equipment, and supporting the workshop team to ensure orders are delivered on time.
Key Responsibilities
* Preparing and powder coating materials in both stock colours and custom colours
* Wet spraying (desirable but not essential – training can be provided)
* Ensuring correct grounding and static charge across all parts hung, to achieve clean and consistent coverage
* Adhering to safe handling of chemicals in line with CoSHH and Health & Safety policies
* Maintaining spray gun, spray booth, and a clean/tidy workspace
* Monitoring stock of powder and consumables, raising orders when needed
* Following ISO 9001 / ISO 14001 procedures for consistent quality
* Supporting the team with assembly, packing, and dispatch when required
About You
* Recognised qualification in powder coating or surface finishing (e.g. NVQ, City & Guilds, or BCF/CTI-endorsed training), or strong proven industry experience
* Proven understanding of electrostatic principles in powder coating – including correct part hanging, earthing, and maintaining a consistent charge to avoid rejects
* Wet spray experience desirable, but not essential
* Strong eye for detail and consistent quality standards
* Able to manage and prioritise high workloads in a fast-paced environment
* Reliable, organised, and able to work to deadlines
* Team player with a positive, proactive attitude
* Eligible to work in the UK
