About the role

Want to use your investigative skills to protect fairness in the benefits system? As an Inspector in the Social Security Division, you’ll be at the frontline of tackling benefit fraud – analysing records, gathering intelligence, conducting covert surveillance, interviewing claimants, and preparing evidence for court. Your investigations will directly safeguard public funds and ensure the system works for those who need it most.

This role lets you apply your problem‑solving, communication, and analytical skills in a meaningful way. You’ll handle complex casework, collaborate across Government, and see the difference your work makes in protecting the community.
