We are recruiting a graduate teaching assistant to work across secondary schools in South Tyneside. You will support pupils in lessons, work with small groups, and help students overcome barriers to learning. This role is ideal for graduates considering teaching, educational psychology, or pastoral careers.
Key responsibilities:
1. Supporting students in class and in small groups
2. Assisting teachers with lesson delivery
3. Supporting pupils with SEN and additional needs
Ideal candidate:
4. Degree in any subject
5. Interest in secondary education
6. Confident, patient and enthusiastic

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
