Buyer

On behalf of our client, we are seeking to recruit a Buyer on an initial 6-month contract. As the Buyer, you will support procurement activities across multiple UK sites, providing local sourcing support, approving purchase orders, and building strong relationships with internal stakeholders. Based in Belfast, you will manage a diverse portfolio covering Manufacturing Technologies Products & Services and Real Estate & Facility Management, helping to deliver effective procurement solutions that support business objectives across the organisation.

Role: Buyer
Pay: £29.44 per hour Via Umbrella
Location: Belfast
Contract: Monday - Friday 36 hours per week, 6months
IR35 Status: Inside
Security Clearance: BPSS

Responsibilities

Ensure compliance with relevant company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
Execute CFT's; approving requisitions; and ensure delivery to expectations as appropriate.
Building relationships with the trans-national organization of General Procurement and locally with key customers and stakeholders and managing any escalations in a timely manner.
Working collaboratively and ensuring the link between the Supplier and the Airbus MFT/MDT in all topics to ensure "1-Airbus voice" to the supplier.
Willing to travel should the requirement arise (limited to Europe)
Essential Skills:

Procurement buyer experience ideally in an Indirect Procurement role.
Familiarity with procurement systems and software (SAP and Coupa).
Relationship-building skills with internal and external stakeholders.
Ability to analyse data and make informed decisions.
Experience in working in a multi-functional & multi divisional environment.
Good networking skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
