We’re looking for a hands-on, detail-focused Production Technician to join a close-knit and supportive team in Oxford. This role offers a unique opportunity to work at the heart of high-precision manufacturing, where safety, accuracy and continuous improvement are key.
You’ll be involved in the operation and maintenance of specialised chambers used for testing high-performance devices, working closely with engineering, quality and production teams. What you’ll be doing:
* Assembling and disassembling test chambers, identifying components to technical drawings
* Setting up and operating firing mechanisms safely and accurately
* Loading, arming, and firing high-performance components
* Collecting and analysing test data and updating internal systems (SAP)
* Pressure testing chambers and using ovens, freezers, and conditioning chambers safely
* Ensuring all work is completed in line with technical notes, QA instructions, and engineering specifications
What we’re looking for:
* Ability to read and interpret basic engineering drawings
* Mechanical Assembly Skills
* Knowledge of oscilloscopes would be desirable but not essential
* Comfortable working under time pressure and managing priorities to hit deadlines
* Familiar with health & safety procedures in a workshop or production environment
