RECfinancial are supporting a well established business in the Leicester area in their search for an Accounts Assistant to join the team on a Temp‑to‑Perm basis, so candidates would ideally be available on short notice, or immediately available.
This is a hands on, varied role within a busy operational environment, ideal for someone who enjoys being close to the action and wants to develop within a finance function.
The Role
You’ll play a key part in the day‑to‑day finance operations, covering invoicing, ledger management, and general accounts administration.
Your responsibilities will include:
Sales Ledger
Purchase Ledger
Credit Control
Bank Reconciliation
Adhoc reporting
About You
Essential
Previous experience in an accounts or administrative role
Basic understanding of bookkeeping principles
Good IT skills (Excel, Email, Teams) and familiarity with Sage 50 Accounts
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
AAT qualification or similar (desireable)
