Key Responsibilities:
1. Business Partnering – Build strong relationships with departmental heads to provide insightful financial support and challenge decision-making where appropriate.
2. Budgeting & Forecasting – Lead the preparation and review of budgets and forecasts, ensuring alignment with strategic business goals.
3. Financial Analysis – Deliver detailed analysis of financial performance, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities to drive profitability.
4. Performance Reporting – Produce timely and accurate monthly management reports with commentary, KPIs, and variance analysis.
5. Project Support – Support strategic projects and investment appraisals, providing financial modelling and scenario analysis.
6. Continuous Improvement – Work closely with operational teams to streamline processes, improve financial controls, and implement best practices.
What We’re Looking For:
* Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
* Proven experience in a Finance Business Partnering or commercial finance role
* Strong Excel and financial modelling skills
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence non-finance stakeholders
* A proactive mindset with the confidence to challenge the status quo
