Yard Operative (Inbound) Active work. Great team. Real results. Join our team as a Yard Operative – be the last step in our steel process. At Had-Fab, you’ll help prepare and check steel, support galvanising operations, and make sure materials are ready to go. This is hands-on, physical work where you’ll spend much of your time outdoors. Every day is different, and you’ll be part of a strong team that works together and supports each other. About the Role You’ll work with the Yard Supervisor and the rest of the team to keep the yard safe, organised and moving! Duties will include (but not limited to) Loading and unloading delivery vehicles. Preparing loads for galvanising and getting them ready for dispatch. Checking bundles before they leave the yard. Inspecting galvanised steel and carrying out small touch-ups if needed. Reporting any quality issues. Filling out paperwork so everything can be tracked. Keeping your work area clean and safe. No experience? No problem. We’ll give you full training so you can do the job well and safely. About You We’re looking for people who: Have energy, enthusiasm, and a can-do attitude. Pay attention to detail and like to get things right. Enjoy being outdoors and staying active. Can stay calm when things get busy. Work well as part of a team.
