Overview
Posting & Cleaning Operative (PCO) role offering flexible hours to suit your needs. You will be part of a multi-skilled team ensuring adverts are posted to a high standard and council bus shelters are cleaned for our local communities all year round. You will manage a dedicated posting and cleaning round in the Aberdeen area and can manage your weekly 40 hours in a flexible way that works for you (following a simple repeated rhythm of 1 week posting and 1 week cleaning).
This is a physically demanding job that requires you to work outdoors in all weather. You will work alone on the round, just you and your van. You will need to pop into our Cumbernauld branch every 2 weeks to restock and receive company updates. A Fully Expensed Company Vehicle is provided for business use, including commuting to and from the depot and to get around different settings including busy high streets, residential areas, and rural areas. Dedicated training and support are available to help you get started.
Responsibilities
* Manage your own posting and cleaning round in the Aberdeen area, following the defined rhythm (1 week posting, 1 week cleaning).
* Operate outdoors in all weather conditions and work independently on your round.
* Use and maintain the company vehicle and equipment provided for business use.
* Restock supplies at the branch every 2 weeks and stay informed about company updates.
Qualifications
* Driving licence with no more than 3 points.
* Full-time role working outdoors; experience in outdoor work in all weather conditions is useful but not essential.
* Experience driving medium-sized vans.
* Remote / lone working experience (unsupervised).
* Ability to manage time and plan workload effectively.
* Industrial cleaning experience would be an advantage.
