HR Business Partner (Employee Relations) - Belfast - Permanent MCS Group is delighted to partner with a leading employer as they look to add an HR Business Partner to their team, in this full-time permanent role. The role: As HR Business Partner, you will act as a trusted advisor to managers and employees, providing expert guidance on all aspects of ER including investigations, grievances, disciplinaries, performance management and conflict resolution. You will also play a key role in maintaining positive working relationships with trade unions and employee representatives, ensuring collaborative and constructive dialogue on matters that impact our people and the business. The main responsibilities: Lead and advise on complex employee relations cases including grievance, disciplinary, absence, performance and capability. Support managers with proactive ER advice, ensuring consistency and fairness across the organisation. Provide expert advice and guidance on the application of HR policies. best practice, employment law and IR. Provide support for HR wide initiatives and lead network wide HR projects as required. Build line manager capability through coaching and delivering ER-focused training. Provide insight and recommendations on ER trends to shape people strategy and drive a positive employee experience. The ideal candidate: Proven HR Business Partner (or HR Advisor ready to step up) with strong employee relations expertise. Solid knowledge of NI employment law and best practice ER processes. Experienced in managing high-volume, complex ER cases from end-to-end. Skilled communicator, able to influence and challenge with credibility. CIPD Qualified.
