This SEN TA role centres on supporting a pupil with additional needs in a mainstream setting. The school is a long-standing part of the Langley Mill community and works closely with families to ensure pupils feel secure and understood in school. Class sizes are well managed, routines are clearly established, and SEN support is included in everyday classroom practice rather than delivered in isolation. There is a strong focus on helping pupils manage transitions, build communication skills, and remain engaged throughout the school day. Teaching Assistants are given time to understand pupils properly and are encouraged to use practical, child-centred strategies that support both learning and emotional regulation.
