We're looking for Warehouse Operative!
Reports to: Warehouse Team Leader
Direct Reports: N/A
Deputises for: N/A
Based/Location: Elsham
Salary: £36, (including shift allowance)
Hours: 06:00 till 18:00 day shift / 18:00 till 06:00 night shift
Shift: 4 on 4 off shift pattern (2 days, 2 nights / 4 days off)
Main Purpose of the job:
To carry out the various duties in the warehouse as instructed by the Team Leader and Warehouse Manager.
Responsibilities
Goods In:
1. Goods intake (incl. quality and quantity checks)
2. Unloading trailers with raw materials (potatoes, oil IBC, cardboard, film)
3. Correct pallet labelling on arrival.
4. Completing all intake documents
5. Picking raw materials ready for production.
6. Moving, storing, and organising raw materials and consumables
7. Replenishing goods in pick faces (Flavour, film)
8. Raw material stock counts, stock auditing
9. FIFO Stock rotation
Goods Out:
10. Order picking (case pick, full pallets)
11. Entering customer details (name, address) into the courier portal and printing shipping labels.
12. Loading trailers
13. Moving finished goods from production faciality to warehouse, using shunter van.
14. Loading finished goods on the racking in the warehouse.
15. Finished goods stock counts.
16. Dealing with stock returns.
Co-packing:
17. Over labelling of the individual product packets with additional product information.
18. Making of mix product cases
Other duties:
19. Good housekeeping (cleaning)
20. Clan as you go.
21. MHE pre-operational checks
22. Near miss / accident reporting
KPI/Measures:
23. Picking accuracy
24. Case per hour picking.
25. Clean as you go.
26. Near miss reporting
27. Accident reporting
28. Attendance reports
Qualifications
29. licenses (flexi truck, reach truck desirable)
30. Previous warehouse experience
31. Order picking experience.
32. Experience with WMS
33. Computer literate, basic MS Office knowledge.
34. Organised
35. Eye for detail
36. Strong communication skills
37. Good attitude to work – ‘Can do’ attitude, Team player and also being able to work on their own.
38. Numerical skills
39. Able to work under pressure.
40. Stable work history
41. Reliable transport to Elsham.
