<div><p>Job Title: Attendance Officer</p><p>E-ACT Blackley Academy</p><p>Summary: The Attendance Officer will support students to attend regularly, improve punctuality, and remove barriers to attendance. The role involves monitoring data, identifying trends, communicating with students and families, and working with external agencies.</p><h3>Key Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Monitor and analyse attendance data, identifying trends and concerns</li><li>Work closely with students and families to improve attendance</li><li>Conduct home visits and liaise with external agencies when required</li><li>Support safeguarding procedures related to attendance</li><li>Promote a culture of high expectations and consistent attendance</li></ul><h3>Working Hours and Pay</h3><p>Pay range: SCP11 - 15 - £24,751.55 - £26,406.82 - (FTE: £28,142.00 - £30,024.00)</p><p>37 hours per week, 39 weeks per year</p><h3>Qualifications and Skills</h3><ul><li>GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths</li><li>Experience working in an educational, safeguarding, or pastoral setting</li><li>Strong administrative and organisational skills</li><li>Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage positively with students and families</li><li>Ability to analyse data and use it to inform actions and interventions</li><li>Confident using IT systems, including attendance and MIS software</li></ul><h3>Benefits</h3><p><b>Financial and Lifestyle</b></p><p>We offer a strong financial package including access to defined benefit pension schemes (LGPS or TPS), life cover at three times pensionable pay, and 31 days of annual leave for year‑round employees.
