Job Description A well-established and fast-paced creative production business based in Wellingborough is seeking an experienced Warehouse/Inventory Manager to lead and develop their busy stores and logistics operation. This is a hands-on leadership role within a modern, purpose-built facility, overseeing the smooth running of goods-in, goods-out, storage, and inventory control processes. You will work closely with senior operations and production teams to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and timely delivery of all materials supporting projects across the UK and internationally. Key Responsibilities: Oversee day-to-day warehouse and stores operations including goods-in, goods-out, storage, and stock control Plan, co-ordinate, and monitor warehouse team output to meet operational demands Manage inventory control and ensure accuracy across all stock systems Use and maintain an ERP system for scheduling, tracking, and reporting warehouse activity Implement and improve operational processes and procedures to increase efficiency Monitor and report on warehouse KPIs and performance metrics Lead, support, and develop a warehouse team, including delegation and workload prioritisation Manage staff performance, attendance, conduct, and development in line with company policies Support recruitment, onboarding, and training of new team members Drive a positive, productive working environment with a focus on safety and quality Ensure compliance with health & safety and company standards at all times Candidate Requirements: Proven experience in warehouse or stores management within a fast-paced environment Strong background in inventory control and stock management systems Experience using ERP or production planning systems (minimum 3 years preferred) Confident using Excel and data reporting tools Strong leadership and team management experience Ability to implement process improvements and drive operational efficiency Excellent organisational and time management skills Strong communication skills, both written and verbal Confident decision-maker with strong problem-solving ability Experience managing KPIs and operational performance Commercial awareness and understanding of business priorities Desirable (not essential): Experience within events, exhibitions, or production environments Change management experience Six Sigma or continuous improvement methodology knowledge Benefits: £35,000 – £40,000 salary (DOE) 23 days annual leave bank holidays Additional attendance reward days PRP bonus scheme Company pension Free on-site parking Employee discount scheme Cash health plan and medical support Death in service cover This is a great opportunity for an experienced warehouse professional looking to step into a leadership role within a creative, growing, and forward-thinking business.
