The role is based in our EMEA Headquarters in Richmond, Greater London and part of a global team with colleagues across The Americas, EMEA and APAC. The candidate will deliver global and regional marketing activity consistently and effectively to support business goals, keeping the customer experience front of mind. These activities center on events and engagements to accelerate pipeline pursuits, drive brand or product awareness, establish relationship-building, and more. This individual has a passion for managing the full event lifecycle, driving strategy, execution, and post-event analysis for Sabre-hosted, customer-led, and/or industry events. The ideal candidate will have a diverse marketing background with a solid understanding of marketing mix development, experience in successfully deploying event strategies and tactics to accomplish commercial objectives and be skilled in using qualitative and quantitative metrics to identify and action improvements. They will be comfortable with self-prioritization, working across a global, cross-functional team to understand business needs, and be skilled in influencing multiple stakeholders to gain support for projects or initiatives. Strong project management and communication skills are a must. Role and Responsibilities What will you achieve? You will deliver excellent and impactful marketing to support commercial teams achieve challenging targets. Working extensively with stakeholders across the region will ensure marketing tactics are driving the contribution required, whilst leveraging global marketing activity will maximize return on investment. Plan and deliver regional event plans based on global event strategy Negotiate and execute industry event sponsorships with clear marketing objectives and desired outcomes; cultivate relationships with host organizations and internal stakeholders Support the strategic planning process for a variety of customer engagements, ensuring that each event is executed in alignment with the overall strategy and objectives of the business and applicable audiences Lead and manage a variety of live or virtual events; responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: Defining the event objectives, strategy and KPIs Establishing and managing the project team, timeline and operating cadence Identifying the right target audience and owning the digital-led campaigns to effectively reach and engage them (e.g. web landing page, emails, social posts) Recommending the content and overall customer experience in collaboration with project team and stakeholders Ensuring budgets are proactively managed, tracked and reconciled in a timely manner Measuring and reporting on customer engagement; optimize approach based on metrics and stakeholder feedback What's in it for you? Qualifications and Education Requirements Must Have Skills: A degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or equivalent is preferred 5-7 years marketing experience with demonstrated success, ideally with global technology company/ies Proven event strategy and management skills; ability to lead and direct multiple projects simultaneously Team mentality with strong, proven leadership and communication skills in a cross-functional, matrixed team environment Self-starter who is comfortable with working through ambiguity and has a proven ability to operate well in a fast-paced and dynamic environment Proficient with Microsoft Office programs Fluent English speaker/writer Nice To Have Skills: Experience managing agency and vendor partners - comfortable briefing, setting clear expectations on deliverables and budget control Knowledge of sales methodologies (e.g. Miller Heiman) and digital marketing and automation tools like Salesforce and Pardot is preferred A second language of German, French or Spanish would be desirable Skills: Brand Marketing; Marketing; Marketing Campaigns; Marketing Event We will give careful consideration to your application and review your details against the position criteria.
