We are looking for an experienced and driven Cardiac Physiologist to join our echo team, in Surrey, on a part-time basis. As a Cardiac Physiologist with InHealth, you will be proficient with BSE reporting guidelines, providing a safe and welcoming clinical environment for patients.
This is a part-time role, working 1 day per week (currently Tuesday). We would also consider a bank contract for this role.
Main duties of the job
* Perform and report adult trans-thoracic echocardiograms in line with BSE minimum data set and local reporting guidelines.
* Ensure quality assurance checks on equipment and take appropriate actions.
* Submit reports and archive study images in accordance with contractual requirements and local SOPs.
* Liaise with relevant hospital departments and GP practices for urgent clinical referrals.
* Support with patient bookings, ensuring patient information systems are maintained.

About you
* Experience in performing and reporting adult transthoracic echocardiograms.
* British Society of Echocardiography accreditation or equivalent.
* Full UK driving license.
* Understanding of Data Protection Act, Information Governance, and Caldicott Principles.
* Willingness to adopt new technologies and ideas.
* Evidence of Continuing Professional Development.
