We’re looking for experienced and empathetic GCSE English and/or Maths tutors to support KS3–KS4 students across Oxfordshire in Alternative Provision settings. Many of our learners have SEND, SEMH needs, or EHCPs, and benefit most from 1:1, flexible, trauma-informed support.

• Deliver high-impact 1:1 or small group GCSE tuition (English or Maths)
• Work with students in home, community, or school-based settings
• Adapt your approach to meet SEND and behaviour needs
• Build trust and engagement through consistency and empathy
Requirements:
• Enhanced DBS certificate on the Update Service (Recent Safeguarding & Prevent Certification)
• Strong experience working with SEND, SEMH, or behaviour challenges
• Ability to travel across Oxfordshire (own transport required)
• Confidence teaching GCSE-level content
Nice to Have:
• QTS or tutoring qualification
• Experience in PRUs, AP, or specialist education settings
• Training in trauma-informed or behaviour management approaches
We offer: Flexible hours | Competitive hourly rates | Meaningful work
