About the Role Reporting to the Quality Manager – Co-Pack Operations, this role supports Carlsberg Britvic’s Co-Pack operations across Great Britain. The position serves as a key quality partner, ensuring compliance with industry standards, promoting continuous improvement, and driving operational excellence across all co-pack sites. The role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams including Supply Chain Planning, Quality, and Technical Implementation, with occasional national and international travel to support the GB market. Role Responsibilities Drive performance on key elements of the Quality KPI Scorecard, including Safety, Right First Time, Consumer Complaints, Losses, and Cost Recovery, ensuring timely reviews and reporting. Liaise with Planning and Supply Chain teams to capture operational volumes, consumer complaint trends, and performance metrics for KPI reporting. Collaborate with Demand and Supply Planning to deliver consistent product quality, process improvement, and packaging excellence. Support the implementation and review of Quality Management Systems and Plans, including HACCP, TACCP, and VACCP, with co-manufacturers. Manage and support supplier auditing, onboarding of new Co-Packers, and Business-as-Usual (BAU) quality operations. Conduct site visits and audits to ensure compliance with Carlsberg Britvic and regulatory standards, driving corrective actions where needed. Lead product traceability verification for finished goods and raw materials, ensuring annual testing with contract manufacturers. Initiate root cause investigations for quality and food safety issues, ensuring findings are shared with relevant stakeholders. Act as the main point of contact for National Distribution Centre planning teams on quality-related matters for co-packed finished goods. Clean Full UK Driving licence Experience and Key Attributes: Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in a Quality, Supply Chain, or Manufacturing role within the FMCG or Beverage industry. Degree or apprenticeship in a Quality, Engineering, or related discipline (or equivalent experience). Strong understanding of Quality Management Systems and Food Safety standards (HACCP, TACCP, VACCP, ISO); Intermediate Food Hygiene certification desirable. Proven experience in factory audits, supplier quality management, and process improvement initiatives. Exceptional relationship management, influencing, and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management abilities, with a focus on continuous improvement and operational excellence. IT proficient (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SAP PM desirable); additional European language skills (e.g., German, French, or Spanish) are advantageous. Demonstrates adaptability, resilience, and the ability to perform effectively under pressure.
