The Role
The school is looking for an enthusiastic DT ECT who is eager to develop their teaching practice and inspire students through creative and practical Design & Technology lessons. The successful DT ECT will be supported through a structured induction programme with guidance from an experienced mentor.
Responsibilities of the DT ECT include:
* Teaching Design & Technology across KS3 and KS4
* Planning engaging lessons covering design processes, materials, and manufacturing techniques
* Supporting students in developing practical workshop skills and creative design thinking
* Monitoring pupil progress and providing feedback to support improvement
* Collaborating with colleagues within the Design & Technology department
