Responsibilities
* Plan team rotas to support the Deputy and Home Manager in various meetings and appointments, be flexible, reliable and adaptable, read situations to help young people make positive choices, and proactively support colleagues in their development by leading by example.
* Work on a rota basis (average 169 hours a month full time) plus sleep-ins depending on the size of the home.
* Meet the needs of Children and Young People in line with OFSTED regulations.
* Assist the Registered Manager and Deputy Manager in the implementation of all aspects of the Statement of Purpose by leading by example with the team.
* Lead a team in Residential Care.
* Deputise in the absence of the Registered Manager and Deputy Manager.
Qualifications
* Experience leading a team in Residential Care.
* NVQ level 3 or equivalent.
* To receive supervision in line with Quality Standards and to take responsibility for personal development and progress of individual training needs.
* A full UK driving licence is required due to the location and nature of the role.
* Enhanced DBS and reference checks will be undertaken in line with government regulations and safer recruitment best practice.
