Role Description
This is a part-time/contract role for a Senior Business Analyst at our Greater London office, with flexibility of remote work, sometimes onsite. The Senior Business Analyst will be responsible for gathering and analysing business requirements, evaluating processes, and designing solutions to optimize organizational performance. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, identifying areas for improvement, and ensuring that business objectives are met effectively.
Main Duties
Client Discovery & Business Analysis
· Facilitate and lead client workshops to understand business goals, challenges, and objectives
· Capture, evaluate, and document current-state (“as-is”) processes and user stories
· Identify improvement opportunities and define future-state (“to-be”) processes
· Gather and analyse stakeholder inputs, translating insights into clear, structured outputs
· Produce high-quality documentation, reports, and recommendations
· Present findings, insights, and proposed solutions to client stakeholders
· Ensure proposed solutions align with business needs and strategic objectives
· Prioritise initiatives based on value, impact, and feasibility
· Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams
· Document and communicate all outputs clearly to both client and internal teams
· Feed findings back to the VP Account Manager to support commercial proposals and next-phase planning
Delivery Support (Post-Discovery)
· Produce and hand over all BA artefacts required to support successful project delivery
· Ensure a structured knowledge transfer into the VP delivery team
· Support the management of changes to agreed requirements throughout the project lifecycle
· Collaborate with the Project Manager and delivery team to capture, assess, and incorporate evolving requirements
Continuous Improvement & Market Awareness
· Stay up to date with industry best practices, process optimisation techniques, and emerging technologies
· Identify opportunities to leverage automation and modernise client systems and workflows
· Attend conferences and training as required to maintain proficiency
Training and Development
· BA Certified
· 5-10 Year experience in BA Lead projects
· Experience in IT Agile Delivery Projects
· PM experience would be of Benefit
