Scope

Akkodis is establishing a pioneering IT & Digital Centre of Excellence (CoE), designed to drive transformative technology programmes across the UK. This dynamic new team will play a key role in delivering large-scale digital, cloud, software, and infrastructure projects, supporting both public and private sector clients. By leveraging cutting-edge technology, strategic partnerships, and innovative SaaS-based solutions, the CoE will enhance digital capabilities, future-proof workforces, and enable data-driven decision-making.

Whether delivering sophisticated Big Data platforms, cloud solutions, or advanced infrastructure, our teams will drive innovation and digital excellence across multiple programmes.


Role

We’re seeking a skilled integration engineer to join our software & integration team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for designing, building, and documenting integrations across our cloud platforms, enabling seamless data flow between systems. You’ll work closely with software engineers, business analysts, cloud architects, and QA teams to deliver scalable and maintainable integration solutions


Responsibilities

* Design, develop, and implement integrations in AWS and Azure. Some designed for low-code environments
* Collaborate with business analysts and solution architects to translate business requirements into integration solutions
* Document integration designs, data flows, and technical specifications clearly and comprehensively
* Configure and maintain API-based, event-driven, and batch integrations between SaaS and on-premise systems
* Ensure integrations are secure, compliant, and performant, following cloud best practices
* Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment pipelines (CI/CD) for integration solutions
* Maintain awareness of low-code platform features and enhancements to recommend best-fit solutions


Required Experience

* Experience with low-code/no-code integration platforms such as AWS, Azure, Power Automate, or MuleSoft composer
* Understanding of cloud services and architectures in AWS and/or Azure
* Familiarity with API design and management, REST/SOAP services, and event driven architectures
* Experience in documenting integration solutions, data flows, and technical specifications
* Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in cross-functional teams
* Good understanding of DevOps principles, CI/CD, and version control
* Excellent communication skills, able to bridge technical and business discussions


Required Skills

* Knowledge of ServiceNow, SAP, Salesforce, Pega, or other SaaS platforms for integration purposes
* Experience with data transformation, ETL tools, or scripting languages (Python, JavaScript)
* Understanding of security, compliance, and governance in cloud integrations


Required Education

Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred but not essential
