Fourply Ltd is an established, joinery-led building contractor delivering refurbishments, minor works,
passive fire protection and maintenance services across healthcare, retail and commercial environments throughout the UK.
About to start our 26th year of trading, we operate under structured systems with a strong focus on compliance, accuracy and long-term client relationships.
Due to a valued team member moving on after 7 years, we are seeking a highly organised and detail-focused Payroll Administrator to join our team.
THE ROLE:
This role is central to the financial accuracy and operational discipline of the business.
You will take ownership of weekly timesheet auditing and payroll administration for our field operatives,
ensuring that labour reporting is accurate, compliant and professionally managed.
Key responsibilities include:
Auditing weekly operative timesheets against vehicle tracking data
Identifying and resolving discrepancies prior to forwarding to Payroll Dept for processing
Liaising confidently with operatives and Contracts Managers
Reporting labour variations for internal financial management
Processing weekly payroll including holidays, rate changes and expenses
Preparing Sage journals and BACS payments
Ensuring accurate labour cost allocation within our job management system
This role requires someone who is comfortable asking questions, maintaining standards and ensuring
procedures are followed correctly.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
Payroll experience (construction or building services desirable)
Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail
Confident communicator, comfortable challenging inconsistencies
Experience using Sage and online banking systems
Highly organised with the ability to work to weekly deadlines
Professional, discreet and trustworthy
