Expro are currently recruiting for a Operations Support Engineer - Subsea to join the Subsea team based in Aberdeen. Overall Purpose of the Job To assist in global technical support for the Subsea Product Line. Responsible for providing high quality and in-depth technical support for direct hydraulic and electro-hydraulic operations worldwide. Key Activities and Accountabilities Create the required operational and engineering documents / drawings for projects ensuring compliance with industry standards and Expro policies and procedures. Workflow operational and engineering documents / drawings in the Product Lifecycle Management system and configure as required. Utilise technical and or operational expertise to provide service delivery solutions for customers; order equipment specific to customer specifications/job requirements Actively participate in new project operational and engineering meetings, with internal and external parties. Typical meetings include Project Kick off, Client Project & Rig Action Trackers, Engineering Design Reviews and Team Meetings Liaise with engineering to confirm that any operational calculations / analysis is in line with the planned operations. Provide operational support & advice (Field or W/shop) for all subsea operations when required. Type of support / advice will range from technical (mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, controls) to process / procedures. Identify improvements / upgrades that can be made to equipment or operational & engineering processes and procedures. Improvements / upgrades may lead to engineering changes on Expro designed equipment or 3rd party designs Ensure that all operational and w/shop events are properly recorded and reported and ensure that any investigation carried out, establish' s the correct root cause/s and mitigating measure/s to prevent future happenings. Incorporate Engineering / Operational feedback and lessons learnt for continual improvement. Job Knowledge and Qualifications Extensive technical experience preferable within product line including wellsite/field experience Formal technical qualification Computer skills (MS office, AutoCAD desirable) Why Expro?
