Key Responsibilities: Develop and Implement Strategies: Assist in designing and applying support plans tailored to individual student needs. Provide Direct Support: Deliver one-on-one assistance, helping students manage behaviour and emotions effectively. Monitor and Record Progress: Track student development, celebrate milestones, and adapt strategies as needed. Collaborate with Colleagues: Engage in team discussions and planning to enhance student support. Promote Inclusivity: Encourage a classroom culture where every student feels respected and included. Engage and Motivate Students: Use creative approaches to make learning enjoyable and meaningful. Maintain Communication: Keep accurate records and maintain open communication with staff, parents, and carers. Qualifications and Skills: Relevant Experience: Previous experience in a similar role is essential. Effective Communication: Strong interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues. Relationship Building: Ability to foster trust and rapport with students and staff. Patience and Empathy: A caring and understanding approach to student support. Requirements: The right to work in the UK. An up-to-date CV with two relevant references from within the last 2 years. An enhanced DBS registered to the update service or willingness to apply for one.
