Role Overview
As a Business Development Executive, you will play a key role in generating new business opportunities across Europe. You’ll prospect, engage, and consult with decision-makers across industries to promote the company's suite of services. This role requires a proactive, target-driven individual with strong communication skills and a passion for building relationships.
Key Responsibilities
* Identify and engage new prospects across target industries and regions
* Conduct outbound prospecting via phone, email, and web research
* Qualify and respond to inbound inquiries to assess business opportunities
* Maintain and grow the CRM database with accurate contact and company information
* Build strong relationships with new and existing clients to understand their asset management needs
* Collaborate with internal teams to coordinate client meetings and proposal development
* Work closely with business development leadership to advance leads through the qualification phase
* Represent the company at occasional client meetings and industry exhibitions across Europe
* Participate in regular team meetings with global colleagues
Requirements
* Minimum 3 years of experience in B2B service sales or business development, across European markets
* Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets
* Strong prospecting mindset – a “hunter” who thrives on creating new opportunities
* Proficient in using online platforms and tools for research and outreach
* Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
* Strong organizational and time management abilities
* Ability to build rapport and maintain professional relationships
* Team-oriented, with a collaborative approach to working with global colleagues
* Confident, competitive, and self-motivated
* Willingness to travel within Europe as needed
* Additional European language skills are a plus, but not required, German speaker would be an advantage
Location: Home-based (occasional office visits required)
Salary: Competitive, based on experience (suggested range £30,000–£38,000) + commission package
